5 Ways to Reinvent Yourself This Season

DEFINE YOUR GOALS:

  • Be Specific. Goals should be clear and explicit, leaving no room for misunderstanding about what is to be achieved.

  • Measurable. To track progress, goals need quantifiable criteria. This could mean setting a goal to “save $5000 in a year” instead of simply aiming to “save more money.”

  • Achievable. While ambition is important, goals should be set within the realm of feasibility to avoid discouragement.

  • Relevant. Goals should align with one’s values and long-term objectives.

  • Time-Bound. Assigning a deadline to goals adds a sense of urgency and helps one to prioritize.

GET CLEAR ON YOUR REBRAND

  • Have your branding colors, fonts and imagery defined.

  • Make a list of people you want to be associated with in your business.

  • Finalize your mission statement.

  • Hire a stylist. Whether it's for your website or wardrobe. Allow a professional to guide you towards smart purchases based on your reinvention. My go to girl- Carly Walko nails it when it comes to styling.

NETWORK

  • Attend relevant events (big and small) to make people aware of who you are and what you do.

  • Get on podcasts to share your story.

  • Introduce yourself using your full name and describe your career and how you help others.

CELEBRATE

  • Host a gathering to celebrate your wins in life. It could be a dinner out, a coffee meet up or a party with your close friends. Give yourself a pat on the back and reflect on your success. Even if they are small wins.

  • Offer your gratitude to your team members and those who stick by you. Your tribe is one of your most valuable assets. Celebrate with them.

GIVE BACK

  • Align your new brand with a charity. Choose a cause that is personal to you.

  • Promote others. If you see a business that serves value, give them a shout out. Even if there's nothing in it for you.

  • Offer advice to those starting out how they can reinvent themselves.
